Board
Community Dreams
come to life, thanks to our GCL board.
We are a non-profit organization, run entirely by volunteer residents of varying backgrounds. Simply put, our Board members are proud to call this community home and want to make a difference. Isn’t it AMAZING what a small group of people with big hearts and great ideas can accomplish?!
If you think you’d like to lend a hand and join this fantastic, supportive and FUN group of people, please reach out to president@gclyeg.com or check out Board vacancies here Our volunteers are not paid- but I think you’ll agree that the work they do is PRICELESS.

PRESIDENT
Kimberly Johnson
Kimberly has been an active community volunteer and GCL Board member for over 13 years. She and her husband have called our community home for the past 15 years. Her favourite projects have been overseeing the construction of 3 playgrounds, the spray park and the outdoor rink in our community. Why? “Because, in those places, you can see and feel the connection and the joy. To me, they are lasting reminders of the value of family and community.” Kim’s passion for helping others led her to a challenging and fulfilling career in health care. When she’s not working at the hospital or volunteering, this busy mama of two enjoys taking care of her home, garden and most especially, her family.

Say hi if you see him at any of our events or out on the trails.

SECRETARY
Annette Fayant
Annette has been living in the community since the beginning. She and her husband were actually the second family to move in the area back in 1999. There weren’t even sidewalks yet, and numerous coyotes in their backyard. She has fallen in love with all the pathways and you will often find her walking her dog. She has added 2 kids to the mix and a few cats along the years. Annette is a nurse and has a passion for helping people (and animals)……this love of community has drawn her to the community league board.
